EUROGEO joins the Digitalearth.eu Project In February 2010 a successful application was made to the European Commission to establish a Comenius European network of schools, teacher training and other educational organisations who are involved in the teaching with GeoMedia and GeoInformation. The project will start in early 2011 and so we are inviting members who would like to be involved in the network and share the many initiatives taking place that are using maps, local data, information, media to represent and learn about the places we live in. The network will aim to gather ideas and information, promote best practice and establish Centres of Excellence to disseminate information on learning and teaching with geomedia and geoin¬formation.
