EUROGEO is a European, non-governmental, non-profit organisation. It is the European scientific and educational society which was founded in 1979 which networks geographers from all walks of life and organisations who are interested in the theory, methods and practice of Geography.

In 1989 EUROGEO was granted official consultative
status with the Council of Europe. This was upgraded in 2004 as full participatory status. EUROGEO is the only geographical scientific body to have achieved such status.
