Sustainable Geographies

EUROGEO Seminar May 8th, 2010, Prague, Czech Repoblic

 

Sustainable Geographies took place at the Geography Department, Faculty of Science,Charles University, Prague. Almost 50 participants discussed aspects of sustainabiility. They included academics, practionners, doctoral and Masters students, members of EGEA and EGEA alumni.

This seminar sought to examine and explore issues associated with “Sustainable Geographies” in a variety of contexts. This included political, historical, cultural, economic, educational, physical, environmental, social and other areas. The intention was to draw participants into the concepts, mechanisms, approaches, tools and technologies which geographers are use to examine diversity.
